So i was just at a Mickey Dees on King St. and its close to 10:30 meaning of course .... BREAKFAST IS OVER! Everybody knows that...nevertheless Im in the drive thru and i see 2 cars ahead of me pull out of line and leave. so i assume breakfast is over. the lady in front of me tries to be slick and order a #3...the lady was like coke to drink...the white lady then said no no the breakfast...and the teller said we stopped servin breakfast. the white lady knowin damn well what time they stopped servin it..10:30 the reply...this bitch is like comeon man its ONLY 10:32 blah blah blah blah..and starts goin off. so im like ... bitch if he said 10:30 and its 10:32 then YOU late. u got nerve to try to get mad at him ... jus bein a nigga lol.

different echelon of thinking...and loving the loneliness

Im begining to think (already knew actually...just getting proof) that my way of thinking and the way my brain works is alot faster then others. When i say faster I dont necessarily mean smarts (even though I bust alot of people's asses in that area) I mean moreso the actaul function of it. I always seem to find myself 2-3 steps ahead of most people when conversating. For instance....I had an appointment at 1pm yesterday afternoon. I had been out of town since Thur. night at my friend's uncle's house in Warrenton, NC. So yesterday morning my friend asks..."So what time do you want to leave?". I say I dont care what time we leave as long as I am back by 1. He asked me the same quesitons 2 more times...only to get the same response from me. At the end he got mad saying I was wasting time by not just giving him a direct time. And it was like how DON'T you undersand my response to you question. I guess alot of the thoughts that goes through my mind tend to go over alot of peoples heads (or maybe just the people I deal with). Im on a different echelon of thinking...and loving the loneliness?

The begining of the week of endless turkey sandwhiches and other fine thanksgiving day left overs, and I already looking forward to the next holiday....need more time off from work. I always used to think it was weird when my mom used to tell me "People will use you until your all gone." When I was younger it really didn't make any sense to me...actually to this day it still only makes a little bit of sense to me. I say that becuase now as a 21 year old man I know people can only do what I alow them to do to me. So nobody can use me...unless I let them. But in the past year or two I really gained prespective on what she was speaking of, and quite honestly I just dont understand it.

I don't understand how people would genuinly take advantage of someone. I have trouble even disrespecting somebody who hasn't disrespected me at all. But nevertheless I'm starting to notice that people around me are starting to not see me solely as Gary any more...but Gary the Tattoo Artist. Now I normally would be estatic to have tattoo artist associated with my name....but when the title begins to over shadow the person it becomes a problem. People dont even speak to me like a regular person....its like becuase I provide a service thats all I am good for....not good enough for a "Hi, how are you doing." All I get is "Yo, Im tryin to get tatted" or "Ay can you get me this day blah blah blah blah." But see I expected that to happen...but from regular ass people...not from people who I consider my brothers/friends. Is it human anture to take advantage of things to benefit ones' self?

I happen to be watching tv last night (rare occasion) and cuaght the last 30 mins of American Gangster on BET. I've watched this show before so I was interested when I found out the drug dealer they were talkin about was outt D.C. THE WORLD AROUND ME

The world around me seems endless. It seems like no matter what I do or try to do I am still in the same position. Am I the one to blame. Or maybe it was my up bringing that should be to blame....or perhaps the school that I spent 4 years of my life learing in is to blame. Somebody should be to blame for all the confusion and depression I feel at times. But at the end of the day no one is around...I am left alone. Left alone to deal with the thoughts of uncertainty that race through my mind day in and day out. I often sit back and wonder who should be to blame for all the pain that I feel? There has to be entity that shoulders can hold the blame for this.

I often feel that the mental hardships (if that) I faced over these past 21 years most would never have to face. But I am not regretful about these events/internal battles....becuase they ultimatly helped me grow and learn as a man. But yet at the same time I feel that I desrve success more then the next person becuase of that mental stress. And to some my life may not seem that hard, or complex, or stressful. But that would only be from a bloodied eye looking through a frosted glass window. The image would be distorted. As I often feel peoples image of me is. So who is to blame for this distortion, if I am geniunly a good person with good intentions on humanity?

The world around me is cold and dark. But I am a creature of the night and have never been too fond of the bitter cold. So I will adapt and survive...while still holding the feeling of resentment. That is where I live now. Care to visit?

Loced Intellectual - Ignorance blinds Truth

About an hour or two ago I had an interesting conversation with a man that came to my office. Now upon first glance of this man, (STEROTYPICALLY) most people would think that he wasn't very knowledgable at all. He wore his hair in long unkept locs that hung down to his back, a scruffy un even beard and dirty clothes and work boots. I engaged in some simple conversation, as I reguarly do to make the 2-3 mins I spend with the customers go by faster, and to my surprise he was very well read and spoke with such intelligence. We talked about how youths today don't have any sense of history, and how their chances of being successful is significantly decreased by not knowing the past. We also discussed how certain individuals in life will reject certain proven facts due to their faith in their religion. He told me of a woman who once had told him that the world was created 2000 years ago and there where no dinosaurs and things of that nature. After that we discussed the Sphinx and how Jesus couldn't have been really named Jesus, becuase the letter J wasn't even in existance when Jesus lived, and this was in a matter of 3 minutes. Just goes to show you have the power of ignorance can blind truth. Meaning (IN THIS SITUATION) that if I would have went with the ignorance of our society I might not have had the worldly conversation I had with the gentleman.

Waking up to Change.

I woke up today not wanting to get up, the usual, but today it was with a sense of depression. As I lay in my bed for the 4 mins that seem liek forever I think about what I am getting up for. Is it for the job that I hate?...or the money that I need more of?....is it the urge to test my benevolance with ignorant, power hungry peers? Or is it simply becuase I want more sleep? With so many questions racing through my mind upon waking up, then it came clear that I wasn't necessarily physically tired....but more so mentally. I am tired of having to deal with the same bullshit on a daily basis....and not seeing anything in return for my urge to benefit humanity somehow...no matter how big or small it may be. Today I will make a change....a change from all the belittling looks and comments.....a change from the minotiny which is "Corporate America"...a change from my personal proclivities....today marks change. They cant come here and attack us like this!" People take for granted how much freedom we have here. Try doing half the things we do everyday here, in other countries. People that say they are only proud now, show to you that they have no loyalty. If you aint loyal to me during the bad times, I dont want you around during the good ones. That's my basic principle in life. I know struggle, but I dont cry about it. Not on the outside anyways. But I do know who around me now, was there when it was bad. Those are loyal people. And they have earned my loyalty as well.
This shows a new breed of what will become known as being an "AmeriSTAN". Someone who hops on the boat when it looks like the weather is beautiful, but jumps ship when a storm is approaching. Everyone cried about how this country sets you up for failure....how you can't get ahead because society hates you...how Katrina was actually a conspiracy to destroy minorities and poor areas...but now?? Super Obama is here! He will stop all the wrong doing in America and everyone will be happy! Damn man, I wish that was the case, but unfortunately, its not and never will be.
I could never defend Bush. He has got to be one of the worst presidents we ever had. There were so many inside politics, corruptions and scams during his administration that he made people in America really dislike our government. He stained an already stained country. But what country DOESN'T have a messed up history?...countries full of scandals and people who hate their government....that's the WORLD.
Change, change and change.....the dictionary defines change as "to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc., of something different from what it is or from what it would be if left alone."
We need change in OUR lives. With our new president, we have a great opportunity to not only see our government change for the better, but ourselves as well. If we REALLY want to see this country change, we need to change our whole mentality on things NOW. Not yesterday...not tomorrow but NOW. We can't fix mistakes made in the past. All we can do is learn and prevent new ones from happening tomorrow. So now you have no excuses. Don't blame the president for your life being wrong. Right your wrong and take control of yourself.
I'm not trying to REIGN (pun intended) on the parade, but if we all REALLY want this to work out....change comes from within US....not who's in the White House.
In closing I want to say that I'm excited about the fresh face we have up in office and the new paths and opportunities that can possibly be open to our youth. It is this election that has ispired a generation and given hope to every single person in America that ANYTHING can be achieved through hard work and dedication. So congrats to our new direction and hope for the future...President Barack Obama!"

So today is November 5, 2008 and apparently a moment in history. We now have the first BLACK (mixed actually) president, Barack Obama. Let me say first off I didn't vote, becuase I feel they are all liers and all have hidden agendas. Nevertheless, Im struck with a range of emotions upon waking up this morning. I was shocked that the United States was ready for a black president (which I still don't think it is), I was also very interested to see what my friends and peers would have to say. The first thing I saw when i got on Facebook was everybodies status included something about OBAMA. I was again struck with disgust becuase some of the people I know for a fact have no knowledge whatsoever about the campain or the issues. Which brought me to the question...How many people voted for him solely becuase he was black?

Now alot of responses I got to that question were:

What does it matter? As long as peopl voted.
Who cares? Barack is the president now.

My main problem with that is that you are voting for a man solely becuase of something he has no control over. I think it is belittling and wrong for people to just neglect this man's views on the issues and vot efor him simply becuase of the color of his skin. If you really like him that much...show him some respect and listen to the debates, listen to his stance on the issues and then make a educated decisions on who'd you'd liek to run the country. Not someone who simply looks like you.

Another thing Im pissed off about is the sheer ignorance of people and them thinking change is coming simply becuase a person of color is in the white house. I know people of color that side with white people in certain situations, so for people to say "Yeah shit is bout to change" just because a black person is in the white house .... just doesn't sit right with me.

So today is the day in which citizens of these here United States are suppossed to come out and cast their vote for President. I wont be voting today....or any day in the near future. Lately I've been thinking alot about what aspects a truly righteous or good person posses and how it relates to the after life. Everyone knows that IDEALLY good people go to heaven, and bad people go to hell. But what happens when somebody is both good and bad. I say that becuase I believe everyone has good and bad in them, its moreso about which trait shows more.

Take for instance a stick up kid. Is he good or bad? He's bad becuase he's steals...but is his stealing really that bad if he is stealing to survive.

Or a submissive person who lets people walk all over them. Are they good for letting people walk all over them, or are they bad becuase they wont speak up for themselves?

The underlying issue is that everyone has the power to be a naturally good person...too many of us just let the bad distract us. The mark of a naturally good person is the ability to keep the circle of good intentions going....while knowing no one (in return) will complete the chipher.DIG?

So for those of you that don't know I have a conspiracy theory for EVERYTHING. This is my latest addition to my Gas Price Conspriacy Theory.



If the Natl. Gas Price for Regular Unleaded in VA is $2.70, why in the hell did I pay $3.07 yesterday? Me thinks these here gas pedlers are getting over!!

I was having a convo with a "Wayne ethusiast" the other day about his flow ever since he became a "ROCKSTAR". My thing is that Wayne used to SPIT...(he still does)...before he went off on this rockstar tangent. I really didn't even notcie until my man brought it to my attention.
